The Race is Over

I want to thank you and I hope you will extend this 'thank you' message to everyone else who helped with funds, door-to-door, putting up signs, writing letters to the editor, editing mailings, letter stuffing, address sticking and all sorts of other support. It was great to have such wonderful support from all my friends. We did something great together; we were part of a near perfect local campaign. But, despite the significant number of votes we received, not all walls come down at once. Thanks again and I'll keep trying...

My thoughts on the Campaign

Here's What's New...

Citinet Digital Government Initiative Citinet: Digital Government Initiative
On May 1, I proposed the expanding the jurisdiction of the current city Telecommunications Council to include telecommunications not just cable TV, and the establishment of an enhanced digital government portal to improve the exchange of information between city and citizen.
Bloomington Based Business Initiative Bloomington Based Business Trademark
On April 18, I proposed the establishment of a trademark/logo program for Bloomington-based businesses to counter-balance the marketing clout of big-box stores and to distinguish their goods and services from their chain competitors.
